Eswitch Touch Interface

Brief

Create an easy to use interface for the ewatch home automation system. The interface is on the ewatch wall sitches and wall touch panels.

Outcome

Their were many technical considerations to be made when designing this interface and the outcome is a result of user testing and consultation with the programmer and back end developer. The result is a slick and easy to use interface that works.

Keys things were the aspect ratio of the OLED screen on the wall switch and the ability to mount it horizontally or vertically, the touch overlay technology and grid formation and the visible and audible feedback in the absense of a physical button that moves and makes a clicking sound.
