Neergon Stool

Brief

Blender wanted to create a visual contrast to the previously developed Neerg Stool and design something which was essentially very different but with similar geometry and what would also be a cost effective furniture solution for mass manufacture.

Outcome

The Neergon is a single piece, fibre reinforced plastic stool designed and manufactured to be lightweight, strong and fully stackable. Its “inside out” style gives it a unique aesthetic and great opportunity for some funky colour contrasts. The design retains the overall geometry of the Neerg Stool while offering a single piece solution which is lends itself towards mass manufacture. The design is also self draining and fully stackable for transport and storage. It is perfect for classrooms and cafes where chairs are being rearranged and packed away regularly.
